Cheryl O’Reilly, BSc (Hons) Dip. Ac.
Cheryl is a respected and experienced auricular practitioner within the acupuncture profession and has run a private acupuncture clinic for a number of years specialising in treating addictions and mental health disorders. Previously having worked in the field of criminal justice and substance misuse as both a caseworker, group facilitator and in managing and supervising those working in this area. She has a great interest and passion for the therapeutic relationship and the interplay of dynamics between people, which she believes, are essential ingredients for success in facilitating growth and well-being both personally and in the treatment setting.
Her work within the substance misuse field began in 1996 and continues to this day with her special interest being the NADA group treatment leading on to her work as a trainer and educator of this important and powerful intervention so beneficial as part of treatment used within community based programmes.
